Heirloom Tomato Salsa

Makes 2 cups | Ready in 7 minutes | Stores 1 week in fridge
 

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 large heirloom tomatoes, chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion, minced
  • ¼ cup Anaheim or jalapeno pepper, minced*
  • 1 tablespoon garlic granules
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, minced
  • ½ lemon, juiced

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor. Pulse a few times until the salsa has your desired consistency.

 

CHEF'S NOTES

The Anaheim pepper has very little heat. The jalapeno pepper has much more heat. Choose the pepper that is appropriate for you and those enjoying the dish. Include the seeds for a hotter flavor.
